Scholarships

Thanks to our generous community of supporters who have helped us build a strong endowment, SVC Foundation awards over $500,000 to over 300 students each year. This is extraordinary, but there is so much more unmet student need. Establishing a scholarship is easy.

Name Scholarship (minimum investment – $1,000): By establishing a Named Scholarship, you can support an area of study, program and/or student demographic that reflects your personal values and objectives. Named Scholarships can be named after a family, business, loved one or reflect other wishes. You have the choice whether you renew your scholarship each year. We work closely with each individual to tailor Named Scholarships to suit your interest or passion.

See our template for establishing a Named Annual Scholarship.

Endowed Scholarship (minimum investment – $25,000): Leave a legacy by establishing an Endowed Scholarship that will live in perpetuity. Similar to a Named Scholarship, you can support an area of study, program and/or student demographic that reflects your personal values and objectives. Your contribution is invested and managed for long-term sustainability and growth. On average, 4 percent of the fund balance is awarded to SVC students each year, allowing the fund to continue growing.

See our template for establishing an Endowment Agreement.

Athletic Scholarships (minimum investment – none): Did you know that our student-athletes maintain a higher average GPA than our student body as a whole? These students excel in the classroom and on the court/field as well. But many of them rely on scholarships to make their dream of playing collegiate athletics possible. We raise over $80,000 every year to maintain our commitment to student athletes, and it takes people like you to make it possible!

General Scholarship Fund (minimum investment – none): Still want to support scholarships but not ready to start a Named or Endowed Scholarship? Anyone can contribute any amount to the General Scholarship Fund. General Scholarships allow us the flexibility to support students who have financial need or show considerable merit, but who may not qualify for restricted scholarships.
