Complete Student Success
You have dreams. We have the comprehensive support system to help you achieve them. SVC Foundation addresses real challenges students face because success in the classroom requires stability in every area of life.
On Campus Housing
Campus View Village (CVV) is comprised of seven Northwest-style apartment buildings. Made up of 34 unites, with four single occupancy rooms per unit (for a total of 136 bed spaces), CVV is an excellent housing option if you would like a close, convenient location while you are attending Skagit Valley College’s Mount Vernon Campus.
Scholarship Application Process
1.
Complete just one online application to be considered for all SVC Foundation Scholarships; paper applications are not accepted.
2.
After logging in, select “Application.” Answer all questions in each section—if any section says “In Progress,” more answers are needed before you can submit.
3.
The system saves your progress automatically, and you can revise your responses until the application deadline.
4.
Once all sections are marked “Completed,” submit your application. A confirmation message—”You did it, nothing left to complete. Way to go”—will confirm submission.
5.
After the deadline, the scholarship committee will review applications and begin awarding. Notifications are sent via email (to the address used at log-in) in early May.
6.
General criteria for each scholarship award are listed in your dashboard. Specific criteria may also apply.
7.
Additional criteria (such as full-time enrollment, campus location, major, and required coursework) may also apply.
8.
Failure to follow requirements, or making changes to your application information or essay, may result in loss of eligibility or repayment of awarded funds.
Tips for Success
Apply early! Only applications fully completed by the deadline will be considered. Incomplete applications cannot be accepted.
Requirements may vary be scholarship, including field of study, GPA, or campus.
